YOU WON.
The country elected you on one deeply unreasonable promise: destroy the national debt. The confetti is still falling. Nobody has shown you the books yet.

You inherited a nation fifty trillion dollars in the hole.
Time to give it one spectacular comeback.
Destroy The Debt is a comeback story told one investment at a time. Here is the part that happens before you start tapping.

The country elected you on one deeply unreasonable promise: destroy the national debt. The confetti is still falling. Nobody has shown you the books yet.

Fifty trillion dollars, and it grows while you sleep. Main Street is shuttered, the factories are quiet, and your first budget meeting is in an hour.

The Consortium has been quietly profiting from every dollar owed, and they did not vote for you. Good news: you have a vault, a cabinet, and absolutely nothing to lose.
Fictional nation. Fictional debt. Entirely real satisfaction.
Turn a mountain of debt into a working economy in a story-driven idle game where every smart investment moves the comeback forward.
01Tap the vault and watch trillions fall. Every hit funds the next investment, and the numbers get gloriously large.
02Open mines, raise factories, and wire up infrastructure. Your industries keep working while you are away.
03Reopen June Park's bakery, light the square, bring the neighborhood back. Behind every number is a street worth saving.
04Sign freight charters, move cargo through the harbor, and time the market. Trade turns a surplus into the next big build.
05Twenty senators, each with their own price, their own politics and a backstory they will absolutely tell you about.
06Finish an administration, bank what you learned, and start again stronger. Some things carry over. Your record is permanent.
Every upgrade lands somewhere you can see. Main Street does not just tick upward on a chart — it reopens.

Finish an administration and the route keeps going — forward into the next crisis, or back a century to rebuild the whole thing in steam.
Three administrations, three decades, one very stubborn balance sheet. This is the campaign you begin with.
2030Win the coalition. Balance the budget. Destroy the debt.
2040Put a decade of expansion to work.
2050Rebuild an economy strong enough to weather the crisis.
The same fight, a century earlier. Timber, coal and telegraph wire instead of silicon, with an economy that runs on rail.
1870Rebuild the country with timber, steam and steel.
1880Connect growing towns to a coast-to-coast freight network.
1890Turn a manufacturing boom into lasting prosperity.
Clean energy, orbital trade and cities built on the last century of good decisions. In development, and visible in-game as a preview.
IN DEVELOPMENT
2130Power a new generation of cities.
2140Take the trade network beyond the skyline.
2150Bring an entire century of progress together.
An impossible mission calls for an unforgettable cast. Recruit twenty senators, appoint a cabinet, and keep an eye on the opposition.

A dry wit, a steady hand, and a plan for the seemingly impossible.

Bakery owner and neighborhood organizer. A reminder of who you are rebuilding for.

Boots on the desk, crude on his hands, and a demand that everyone call him The Chief.

A founder turned senator who is confident she can disrupt government the way she disrupted toasters.

Third-generation money and a gold-plated gavel he brings to every committee meeting.

Nobody knows her real name. She speaks only in founding-father quotes, and nobody questions it.

Represents 665,000 square miles and roughly twelve people. Votes based on what the aurora tells him.

They have made a great deal of money from the debt, and they would like to keep making it.
The essentials before your first day in office.
A story-driven idle game for iPhone and iPad. You are elected president of a fictional nation, you tap an oversized debt vault, and you turn the proceeds into mines, factories, trade routes and rebuilt neighborhoods until the debt is gone.
Open the app, collect what your industries earned while you were away, spend it on the next upgrade, tap the vault for a while, sign a freight contract, recruit a senator, and get on with your day. Sessions can be two minutes or an hour.
Your economy keeps running when the app is closed. Come back to an earnings report, reinvest it, and pick the next goal. Active play adds vault taps, story decisions, minigames and optional activities on top.
The campaign runs through a present-day route across 2030, 2040 and 2050. An Archive route replays the same fight in the 1870s to 1890s with steam-era industry, and a Future route is in development. Each destination has its own art, goods and economy.
The game is in development for iPhone and iPad running iOS 18 or later. Android is planned for a future release. We will post the release date and App Store link here as soon as they are confirmed.
Launch pricing has not been announced. The design goal is that normal play never requires an ad or a purchase, with optional rewarded ads and optional purchases available on top. Final details will be published before release.
No. It is a fictional world with larger-than-life characters and playful civic satire. The debt, currencies, people and events are invented. The game does not use your financial information, manage real debt, or offer financial advice.
The current build saves your progress locally on your device. Optional cloud backup and account recovery are in development and will be described in the privacy policy before they are switched on.
